FREC Courses: First Response Emergency Care Training

FREC stands for First Response Emergency Care. FREC courses are regulated qualifications that train you to give pre-hospital emergency care. People use them to work or volunteer on ambulance services, at events, in security and in emergency response. UK Training Services Ltd, a Qualsafe registered centre in Rowley Regis, delivers FREC 3 and FREC 4 in small classes of six, so every learner gets hands-on practice.

Keeping your FREC qualification valid

A FREC 3 certificate is valid for three years. To keep it active you need to complete a requalification course before it expires. FREC 4 has no formal expiry date, but you need to keep your skills current with a CPD log and an up-to-date life support certificate. Contact us about requalification and refresher options.

Group and on-site FREC training

Employers and organisations can book FREC for their teams. We offer group pricing and can discuss training at your workplace or an agreed venue. See our page on on-site first aid and compliance training.
